LeBron Gave Funny Kobe Bryant Answer When Asked About Dwight Howard’s Performance

Dwight Howard hit 10 consecutive shots during the Los Angeles Lakers loss to the Indiana Pacers this season. Howard may be 34, but he is brilliant. Some said that he was beginning to fade, but it looks like Howard has so much to offer in the Lakers’ effort to win the title.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the biggest contributors to the game when it comes to counting points, rebounds, assists and steals. Howard showed everyone that he still has the skill to hit the floor. During the Lakers game against Indiana, he scored 20 points from 10 shots.

The shooting prowess made LeBron think of an event from the past. He thought of a Kobe Bryant-related nightmare that happened in 2009.

“No, I’ve seen Dwight be special before when he averaged 35 (points), 17 (rebounds), and 5 blocks in the Eastern Conference Finals against my Cavs,” the king said when asked if he was surprised by Howard’s play. “So him going 10-for-10 is nothing (compared) to what I’ve seen before, knocking me out of a chance to play Kobe in The Finals.”

Dwight Howard is great

It looks like the Lakers superstar has some resentment towards Howard thanks to his incredible game for the Orlando Magic in the 2009 Eastern Conference Finals which kept his team out of the big game against Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.

LeBron won his first title in 2012 with the Miami Heat before doing the same trick the following year and then ended the Cavaliers’ struggles in 2016.

That year LeBron was the first player in NBA history to lead both teams in all five categories for a playoff round as he led his squad to a 7-3 series against the Golden State Warriors, and this game him a Finals MVP selection.

Los Angeles lost just eight games in the regular season, and won 33. They lead the Western Conference with a 33-8 record, and that’s more than brilliant. They are off to a big win this season, and LeBron is ready to win his fourth title. Let’s see what happens by the end of the regular season.
