Watch: Bronny James & Shareef O’Neal Dunk Off In LeBron’s Yard

The coronavirus has forced people to stay in their homes. We have plenty of free time to do all the things we like. For Bronny, it’s playing basketball in the backyard. LeBron James’ oldest son found the best way to “waste” his time. Bronny invited Shareef O’Neal over, and they pulled out some really crazy dunks. The famous dad took his time to make a video of the “contest.”

This is definitely one of the best ways to hang out. Bronny is pretty serious about his basketball skills. It’s more than obvious that he is following his dad’s footsteps. Bronny is a talented kid. He is already winning games with his Sierra Canyon High School basketball team. Bronny is on the same team as Dwyane Wade’s son. LeBron and Wade won a lot of games together. They sure gave the Miami Heat a championship pedigree.

Bronny and Shareef have insane talent

When it comes to Shareef, the kid is doing a really good job, too. Shareef got everyone’s attention with his basketball IQ. He was just 13, and analysts had words of praise for his game. Steve Smith coached Shaq’s son for two seasons at Windward School in Los Angeles. He was really impressed by Shareef’s habits. Most 13-year-olds crumple up their jerseys and throw them in a pile. However, Shareef is a lot different. According to Smith, he was neat and clean.

“It showed that he cared tremendously, and just the level of respect he had for the game,” Smith said. “It was great to see a young kid have that level of passion and respect for something.”

Shareef announced in mid-February he’d be transferring from UCLA to LSU, the same school where his famous dad enjoyed crushing the rims three decades earlier.

Shareef rated out of high school as a four-star power forward by 247Sports. He spent his first two college seasons at UCLA but sat out the entire 2018-19 season with a medical redshirt after having surgery to treat his heart condition.

Bronny and Shareef have bright future in the basketball world. We can’t wait to see more of their success on the basketball court.
