Watch: Chase Winovich Shares Hype Instagram Post OfT Teaming Up With Josh Uche For QB Sack

Chase Winovich and Josh Uche will reunite in New England.

New England traded up to select Uche in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He is the 60th overall selection. The Michigan edge believes that his talent will fit really well in Bill Belichick’s winning formula. The Patriots addressed the interior offensive line in the sixth round by picking Michael Onwenu. Adding Uche was the right move for the team. New England moved up 11 months in the second round to get the player.

Winovuch was really excited about the reunion. He took to Twitter to share his excitement. Wino offered a potential look of what’s to happen through his Instagram account. He shared a video of him and Uche joining forces for a joint sack in the 2018 college football season.

Winovich and Uche are excited about their reunion

We believe that Uche is as excited as Wino. He compared the Patriots’ defense to the Michigan defense. According to the player, both defenses are really similar. Uche is also excited to reunite with former teammate Winovich. The Patriots selected Winovich in the 2019 NFL Draft, and his rookie season was pretty successful.

The edge rusher had two meetings with the organization during the pre-draft process. He was called for an informal sit-down with Steve Belichick at the NFL Scouting Combine. The second meeting took place online, and Uche met with Jerod Mayo. Uche was well aware of the fact that the Patriots wanted to get him.

Uche was brilliant during his time at Michigan. He was one of the best pass rushers in the last two years. He led his Michigan with 8 1/2 sacks in 2019 and stacked seven in a limited role in 2017.

The Patriots have selected a few big names in the 2020 NFL Draft. They didn’t get a quarterback, but Bill Belichick may not need one. Things got really exciting in the final day of the draft, and we believe that the best has yet to come. New England has cut a player, and they may do a few more cuts to make enough room for the new players. Who is the next player to come to Foxboro?
