LeBron James Daily Routine Includes a Staggering Amount of Sleep

NBA players get to plan every minute of their day. Being a successful basketball player requires a lot of skills and abilities. High-profile players plan everything and they work all the time to sharpen their skills. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has a special daily routine, and he always gets plenty of sleep.

Golden State Warriors superstar Steve Kerr once said that LeBron was the best player on the planet. We also know that LeBron invests about $1 million to maintain his body.

LeBron works out a lot. He has a gym at home so yes, he doesn’t have to drive to the Lakers practice facility to get his workout. His gym life incluses 2-3 sessions a day. His personal trainer, Mike Mancias, has been helping him since his rookie season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. They spend a lot of time together, and this has helped LeBron adjust his body to perfection.

LeBron James respects his daily routine

When it comes to his workouts, LeBron does different things, including strength training. He does inverted rows, landmine rotational presses, multi-planar lunges and cable lateral chops. His plan also includes weight lifting, bench and overhead presses, deadlifts and bicep curls.

That’s not all. LeBron also does his cardio and spends a lot of time on a treadmil, exercise bike or versaclimber. Pilates and spin classes are also his favorite. Yoga, too.

LeBron’s menu is full of veggies, lean meats and leafy greens. Well, he doesn’t really follow a strict diet plan. He has tried some things, but he likes to eat “dessert with every meal.” That’s what Tristan Thompson said.

He may eat dessert, but he also gets a decent amount of sleep. King James gets 8-9 hours of sleep every night. Numerous studies have shown that sleep improves performance in basketball players.

The three-time NBA champion also gets his daytime naps. That’s about 3 hours in the afternoon. He’s been napping since forever. A three-hour nap may be awkward to you, but LeBron enjoys it. He wakes up early, has his workout, and then moves on with his daily tasks.
