Mike Vrabel Reveals Details Of FaceTime Call With Tom Brady & Julian Edelman

Mike Vrabel once said that he FaceTimed Tom Brady and Julian Edelman. This caused serious reactions among people, and some fans asked really silly questions.

The Patriots wide receiver and his favorite quarterback were courtside for Syracuse’s basketball game with North Carolina. A fan in the crowd saw that Vrabel, Edelman and Brady talked. Some said that Vrabel was trying to bring Brady on his team. Was Brady really trying to join the Tennessee Titans? It turns out that the three friends were just talking.

Brady signed a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he will stay in the team for two years.

Mike Vrabel spills the truth about Tom Brady and Julian Edelman

NBC Sports Boston’s The Camera Guys talked to Vrabel. One of the questions included info about his conversation with Brady and Edelman.

“Well, I was at the combine and we have CBS on TV and I was watching the combine and watching the guys work out, and you have a million snacks back there so I was up and down like a highway,” Vrabel said, as transcribed by WEEI’s Ryan Hannable. “I look up there and they were showing Tom and Julian, so I texted (them) real quick and I was like, ‘Did you guys get highlights for the basketball game?’ Because it looked like their hair was blonde. “Of course they immediately — they were mad so they wanted to yell at me because I texted them something funny. They FaceTime’d me and we’re sitting there laughing and talking. Jules is sitting there yelling into the phone as loud as he possibly can. That is how it all went down, just like any other time. We were just laughing and joking.”

Was this any sort of tampering? Of course it wasn’t. These three were just having a cool conversation. I mean, Vrabel wouldn’t try to snatch Brady from the Patriots during a basketball game.

This event made headlines, and it turns out that people were raging for nothing. Brady is excited about his fresh beginning in Tampa Bay. The same applies to Jules. He will be catching passes from second-year quarterback Jarrett Stidham in 2020.
