Lakers’ Frank Vogel Says LeBron Should Be MVP Gives Strong Reason Why

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Frank Vogel believes that his superstar LeBron James deserves the NBA MVP award for the season. The head coach said that LeBron should be voted the league’s Most Valuable Player for the 2019-20 season.

“Nobody impacts winning more than LeBron James,” the head coach told media members. “I do believe that he should be MVP this year.”

LeBron will compete with Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo for the big award. Giannis won the award last campaign. LeBron and Giannis will compete for the title this season, and their rivalry is making big headlines at this point of the year.

King James has won the top individual honor in four different occasions. He had great performance prior to the NBA hiatus and he also defeated the Bucks. LeBron’s team defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, too.

The kid from Akron recorded 65 points, 17 assists, 16 rebounds, three steals and two blocks in 72 minutes in those games.

“It’s a really good weekend for us, playing against two of the best teams, the top two teams in the league with us as far as record-wise,” he said at the time.

"Regular season MVP has never motivated me. … to be the best to ever play the game has motivated me and it’s resulted in me being able to be league MVP a couple of times.”

LeBron has already downplayed the importance of winning the top honors in the league.

Giannis led his Bucks to the best record in the league. Milwaukee had 53-12 record before the suspension. LeBron had great performance in this season, and his numbers went really high.

The league told teams that the shortened eight-game schedule is enough to finish the season. This shortened schedule won’t be considered in award voting and players won’t have a chance to make the final statement.

LeBron and Giannis will sacrifice the MVP award to win the title. They will sure meet in the deep playoff run.
