Lakers’ LeBron James Savage In-Game Chatter Revealed

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is having the time of his life in Orlando, but he is also taking the whole thing to the savage line. LeBron and his team had the second scrimmage inside the bubble. The Orlando Magic had no chance against the king and his team. But, that’s not the only thing reporters noticed. They heard LeBron saying some things to both his teammates and opponents. He went wild!

It was more than fun to see the big man joking with everyone around. Some jokes were more like a teaser, but that’s just fine. NBA players are used to this. That’s how they communicate on the floor.

Joe Vardon from The Athletic has more details of the Lakers’ second scrimmage.

“During the first quarter, with the ball out of bounds, LeBron, who was on the court, noticed Kentavious Caldwell-Pope walking along the sideline, from the locker room back to the bench. ‘What’s wrong with your shitty ass?’ LeBron asked, and then called KCP something that I simply will not print.”

Players and coaches could also hear LeBron during Orlando Magic free-throw attempts. It was hilarious.

“Orlando’s Nikola Vucevic was midshot on a free throw and LeBron yelled, ‘Ahhhhhh shit.’ On a D.J. Augustin free throw, ‘That’s shorty, that’s shorty.’

“I loved this one. With 10:45 left in the second quarter, the Magic were already in the bonus. So Vogel yells to his team, ‘Hey, Gold, they are already in the bonus one. Stop fouling. We’re one minute into the quarter.’

“Eight minutes and four more fouls later, LeBron goes, ‘Damn, we gotta stop fouling.’”

Well, at some point, LeBron did turn savage. He said Michael Carter-Williams was “all drive, no shoot” right there, on the floor. The worst part? The Orlando guard heard him. Oh yes, LeBron also called Carter-Williams by his jersey number. He didn’t even say his name.

LeBron has a nice vocabulary to use with his teammates. He is more aggressive with his opponents. We believe this season resumption will be full of challenges for the Lakers. LeBron is on their team, and that’s more than enough.
