JaVale McGee Warns Rest of League About Lakers’ Added Chemistry That Will Show During Playoffs

The Los Angeles Lakers clinched the top seed in the West, and they are going after a title. Players worked really hard to get here, and they have a really good chance to win the championship. LeBron James and his teammates are getting ready for a deep playoff run in Orlando. Lakers center JaVale McGee is well aware of the power his team has and now he warns the rest of the league.

McGee sent out a warning to other teams. He said that his team has a better chemistry, adding that this will be their most powerful tool for the season.

“I feel like the team chemistry has only elevated because we’re forced to hang out together every day… It’s definitely going to show on the court during the playoffs.”

The Los Angeles Lakers are 3-4 in the eight seeding games in Orlando. However, it’s important to note that the team defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz. These three teams have advanced to the playoffs in the West.  In other words, these wins are vital.

King James said there have been some off-court issues, but it looks like these issues are no longer here.

The Lakers will play the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the playoffs after Saturday’s game between the Blazers and Memphis.

Lakers young talent Kyle Kuzma said he wasn’t worried about the challenge Blazers bring. He is pretty convinced that the Trail Blazers won’t “hurt” his team despite their great game in Orlando. After Saturday’s contest, the Trail Blazers are 7-2 games in the NBA bubble.

When it comes to McGee, he has been a great contributor for the Lakers. He was averaging 6.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game with the Lakers.

The Lakers will need McGee and Dwight Howard in the next period. They need to provide good minutes at center this position. It will be a big battle, and the Lakers are ready for the challenge. LeBron, McGee, Anthony Davis, Kuzma and the rest of the guys are ready to win the championship.
