Anthony Davis Reacts to Charles Barkley’s Criticism After Hitting Game-Winning Shot

Anthony Davis has finally reacted to the criticism he received from Charles Barkley after he hit the game winning shot. It was a great shot that clinched the Los Angeles Lakers game 2 win. But it was not enough for some people, apparently. The Lakers have been great in the Playoffs so far. They have only lost 2 games and have been pretty impressive doing it. Hopefully they can keep it up.

They will need to if they want to hold on the the Western Conference Finals series lead over the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets have come back from 3 down twice already. This means that if the Lakers do not stay focused, they could end up being in trouble going forward.

Charles Barkley had some hard truth on AD recently. Take a look at what he said.

“You know Anthony, you have an advantage every single night you step on the floor. But some nights you don’t seem aggressive. What is that about you that some nights you’re just not aggressive?” Barkley said.

AD responded to the criticism.

“I just, I go out there, and I think I think too much. You know, I know some of the moves I want to get to going into each game, and I look to make the right plays instead of going out and, like you said, being aggressive. And you know, it’s a big difference, the games where I’m aggressive it definitely carries our team, it helps our team, and that’s gotta be my mindset from here on out.”

“I try to go out there and play the right way but sometimes… you know especially [LeBron James], he tells me all the time, like, ‘Alright, it’s enough passing, it’s time to go to work, be aggressive, be the player that you are.’”

Davis has been huge in the Playoffs and in the bubble as a whole. But it has still been obviously that he differs to LeBron from time to time. As one of the best players in the entire league, he needs to have that killer mentality.

What do you think about what he had to say?
