Report: Patriots Have Major Injury Concern Heading Into Week 3 vs Raiders

The New England Patriots are going vs the Oakland raiders in week 3 and it looks like it should be a huge game. The Patriots have been very busy trying to get back on track after a very disappointing 2019 season. The off season was huge for the team and Bill Belichick kept himself busy trying to fit pieces that would work for the team. The offense was a huge question make last season.

This is one of the reasons that Belichick signed Cam Newton this off season. And so far, it has worked out pretty well. Coach has talked about what he has seen from Newton in the past and it is all compliments.

“Is it real what they say about Belichick? Is it going to be too … I didn’t know,” Newton asked himself before making his decision to sign with the Pats. “I think, honestly, it’s been a match made in heaven for me, just knowing that I’m at a place where everything is pulling in the same direction and everything is geared toward winning.”

“Coming from a person that has won at all levels, I feel as if I do the things the right way, trusting a lot of the same people that got me to this point, and trusting coaching, I think this is something that when you look at an opportunity in a timely manner it can be accomplished,” he said.

But heading into week 3, there is yet another injury concern.

Center David Andrews has made an appearance on the team’s injury report on Wednesday. He also did not practice as he is apparently suffering from an injured hand.

The Patriots’ offensive line has been huge so far this season. Much of the success is thanks to Andrews. He is a team captain. And he is also working to take some of the pressure of Cam Newton. The offensive line has been working to create holes for the New England running backs.

What do you think about this news? Can they bounce back?
