Danny Green Shares What Happened by Busses After he Missed Game-Winning Shot

Danny Green had some interesting stuff to say about what happened in the busses after missing the shot in Game 5. The NBA Playoffs this season were a battle for the most part. There were some easier games but for the most part, it was a tough fight from start to finish. The Lakers were eventually able to come out on top, though and this was impressive to see.

But it was not easy to stay in the NBA bubble for such a long time. LeBron was very outspoken about this before.

“I am here for one reason and one reason only, and that’s to compete for a championship,” James said. “That was my mindset once I entered the bubble, once I entered the quarantine process the first two days. And then right from my first practice my mindset was to, if I’m going to be here, make the most of it and see what you can do and lock in on what the main thing is. And the main thing was for us to finish the season and compete for a championship.”

“So that’s just been my mindset throughout these — I don’t even know how many days it is, whatever how many days it is, it feels like five years so it really doesn’t matter. I’ve been as locked in as I’ve ever been in my career.”

But now there is some drama that apparently happened after game 5. Danny Green famously missed a potential game winner which led to a Miami win.

After the game, Green noted that the Heat’s wives and girlfriends were talking smack to the Lakers’ wives and girlfriends at the busses even though the Los Angeles Lakers were still up 3-2 in the series.

“We were up 3-2 still, they were celebrating, their wives and girlfriends were talking sh*t to our wives, supposedly that’s what I hear…I just heard there was a little bucking going on by the busses…”

Interesting. Tempers were obviously running hot after the game but this seems unnecessary. Also, given that they were all in a bubble together this could have made it even worse. What do you think about this news?
