Patriots Finally Get Some Good News at First Practice for Game vs 49ers

The situation in New England doesn’t look too bad at the moment. The New England Patriots are 2-3 at this point of the season, and head coach Bill Belichick is ready to prove doubters wrong. It’s time for a big change, and the Patriots are ready for it. COVID-19 plagued the team, and some players sustained injuries. There’s nothing great about the two-game losing streak. The Patriots had their first practice ahead of the game vs San Francisco 49ers.

The offense saw some struggles in Week 6. Some players played out of position, and Belichick is has already put some things under control. According to some reports, things will get better right on time.

Patriots had a successful practice

The Patriots placed David Andrews on Injured Reserve and he can definitely join the team for the next game. Shaq Mason missed the match against Denver, but he joined his teammates for practice.

Joe Thuney can now take his old position, and things can’t really get any better than this.

“The Patriots hit the practice field on Wednesday, which marks a major improvement upon last week. Better yet, the team welcomed back a number of players who had been out. At the top of that list were David Andrews and Shaq Mason. Andrews spent the last three weeks on IR with a broken thumb, while Mason was placed on the COVID-19 list over the weekend. Their returns should help the patchwork offensive line in a big way, provided both will be able to play on Sunday vs. San Francisco. Also returning from IR were rookie linebacker Josh Uche and defensive lineman Beau Allen, while defensive end Derek Rivers and defensive tackle Byron Cowart were activated off the COVID-19 list as well.”

Rookie linebacker Josh Uche has yet to make an impact, and he will probably get a chance to play his best game in Sunday’s game.

New England looks better now, and players are ready to break the curse and win some games. Jimmy Garoppolo and the Niners may look like a big bite right now, but the Pats are ready for the challenge.
