The Los Angeles Lakers are trading Danny Green for Dennis Schroder and it was definitely a big trade for the champions. The franchise made headlines with this trade. What does superstar Anthony Davis think about this? The big man approves every bit of the deal. Davis appeared on the Posted Up with C. Haynes program and shared his thoughts on the trade. According to him, Schroder is a good fit for the Lakers. Davis believes that the former Thunder player will support the Lakers’ title defense in the 2020-21 season.

“He’s a great pickup, with Schröder alongside LeBron, and the other guys they (Lakers) decide to acquire or whatever…I think it was a good pickup,” Davis said. “Like you said, he could easily win sixth man of the year, any given year. He played great alongside C.P. (Chris Paul) and Shai (Gilgeous-Alexander). He’s tough, he shot the ball well this year, he can get in the paint, he can find guys, and he’s very, very scrappy. I think it was a good move, a good pickup for the Los Angeles Lakers.”

Schroder was one of the best players coming off the bench this past season. He was averaging 18.9 points on 46.9 percent shooting, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. Oh, yes, let’s not forget that he also hit 1.9 triples per game. The 27-year-old averaged 30.8 minutes per game.
