Lamar Jackson Comments on Cam Newton Ahead of Week 10 Clash

Lamar Jackson has some comments on Cam Newton ahead of their Week 10 clash with the Baltimore Ravens. The Patriots are not going to be favored in too many more games this season. They have been struggling to get back on track after a lackluster offensive performance so far this season.

A lot of this had to do with the COVID situation that is currently happening around the world. It has hit the Patriots pretty hard this year. Cam Newton was the first to test positive. Bill Belichick talked about what they were doing to get back on track.

“Today’s an important day in our preparation for the Broncos,” Belichick said. “We’ve had several days now of virtual meetings between the staff members and from the staff to the players. We’ve been able to cover a lot of things, but we haven’t spent any time together, so today’s our opportunity to do that. We look forward to that. One thing that we’ve learned this year repeatedly has been we have to be ready to adjust and adapt to changes and modifications and the way we do things and, in some cases, decisions that really come down to a very short amount of time that we have to be ready to adjust to.

“So we’re certainly taking things day by day — probably hour by hour would be more accurate. We’ll just see how we progress and then as we find out more on our end, or if there are other things externally that we can’t control that, then we’ll deal with those as they come. That’s the way it’s been all year. I think our team and our players have done a good job of handling those adjustments, and we’ll continue to do that.”

Lamar Jackson Comments on Cam Newton Ahead of Week 10 Clash

Now Lamar Jackson, QB of the Ravens has come out with some interesting comments on Cam Newton.

“Some players are not as good when they’re super locked in,” he told Ryan Ward. “They kind of need those outlets and those things that allow them to kind of come out their bunker so to speak like they don’t have to be so locked in every single minute of the day. When you take those things away and you put that player into a situation where they have to be locked in the whole time they’re sometimes not as good.

This is true. Cam Newton has been surrounded by people expecting him to be great. It has to be a lot of pressure. What do you think about what he had to say?
