Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and his oldest son Bronny reacted to King Von’s death. NBA fans and players took to social media to react to the death of the famous rapper.

The 26-year-old rapper died in a shooting in Atlanta on Friday. This is yet another tragedy LeBron has to deal with this year. It all started with Kobe Bryant’s death. The Black Mamba was traveling with his daughter Gianna and seven others.

LeBron devastated following King Von’s death

The Atlanta Police Department released a statement on King Von’s death. It suggests that APD officers shot the rapper. There was a shooting between two groups of males and the police were trying to stop it.  King Von wasn’t noticed at the scene, but someone took him to the hospital with a private vehicle. There’s an ongoing investigation into the shooting.

“It is our understanding Dayvon Bennett, aka King Von was shot and killed during this morning’s shooting and we are seeing rumors being spread indicating he was shot and killed by APD officers. At this time, our investigators believe Mr. Bennett was shot during the initial shootout between the two groups of males, prior to police responding and attempting to stop the shooting. Additionally, Mr. Bennett was not located at the scene, but arrived at a hospital shortly after the shooting, via private vehicle. The investigation into this incident remains open and very active.”

King Von grew up in Chicago’s O’Block neighborhood. He lost his life in a violent attack. The terrible tragedy only added salt to the injury. Losing such a young person to violence reminds us of all the problems this world deals with.

Last month, King Von celebrated the release of his new album. “Welcome to O’Block” is really impressive, and it’s actually the follow-up to the “Levin James” project. It’s the same project LeBron wrote about in his post.

Too many people lose their lives in shootings of this kind. The country deals with so many problems right now. King Von’s death shocked the nation.
