OJ Simpson Had A Message For LeBron This Week

NBA players used their platform inside the NBA bubble to attract everyone’s attention. Some of them even boycotted games following a deadly shooting. OJ Simpson took notice of everything players did to warn the nation and he delivered the perfect message for LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar is one of the many players who talked about the shooting of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and other African-Americans who died at the hands of the police.

LeBron talked about a recent shooting in Columbus, too. He took to Twitter to spread the word of the shooting and warn everyone of the Columbus police officer who shot an African-American teenage girl. LeBron wrote, “You’re Next,” but deleted the tweet because it caused a mess.

OJ Simpson “warned” LeBron James

A lot of people criticized LeBron for what he wrote. The four-time NBA champion tried to explain his actions, but some people wouldn’t listen.

“I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police. I took the tweet down because its being used to create more hate -This isn’t about one officer.  it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY,” the four-time NBA champion tweeted.

Simpson has a history with the police and he delivered a big message for the kid from Akron. He encouraged the basketball superstar to pick your battles and be more patient before he comments on the hottest topics in the world.

“You can’t fight every battle. You know, you got to pick your battles. It’s a war that must be fought but sometimes you need to take your time and be a little more patient before you comment on some of these bad incidents that are happening with police departments,” Simpson said in a video posted to Twitter. “LeBron should have waited.”

Guess what… LeBron isn’t really bothered by this criticism. He speaks his mind and that’s all. He is trying to raise general awareness and fight for those who need someone to stand for them.
