Snoop Dogg Savage Take on LeBron James, Lakers Losing This Year

Snoop Dogg watched LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers struggle this past season. The franchise looked like favorites to win the championship last offseason. They entered the 2020-21 NBA season as the top team. General Manager Rob Pelinka added a lot of valuable players in the offseason. Montrezl Harrell, Marc Gasol, Wesley Matthews… However, Anthony Davis suffered an injury mid-February.

The problems didn’t stop here. LeBron had to carry the entire team on his back for a few months. AD was getting ready for his return and LeBron suffered an injury in March. He was forced to stay home and recover. The situation looked really bad for LA at this point. Players struggled to stay afloat without the superstars. LA dropped to the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

Snoop Dogg supports LeBron James and the Lakers

TMZ asked Snoop Dogg about the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Finals. He didn’t miss the chance to mention the Lakers. Of course, the world renowned rapper is fine with the title going to another franchise this season.

“I want to see somebody win a championship other than the Lakers, because we just keep winning them and winning them, so.”

We saw this coming. That’s just Snoop Dogg. The rapper didn’t made too many mistakes this time. The Lakers struggled before LeBron joined the team. LA won six titles since the turn of this millennium. This is by far the most out of any NBA team. Maybe other teams should get a chance to show off this time.

Will Chris Paul and Phoenix sweep the Finals? Here’s what Snoop Dogg said:

“I don’t know about sweeping, but I think they may win it. I’m happy for Chris Paul and Booker. And Monty Williams too.”

The Lakers didn’t compete for the championship this season. Snoop Dogg will follow their development in the upcoming season. Let’s see how will the Lakers handle the pressure. They have been linked to several superstars in the NBA. Damian Lillard, DeMar DeRozan, and many others may end up playing with the Lakers in the 2021-22 season.
