Fans Destroyed Rasheed Wallace Over Savage Take on LeBron James

NBA fans won’t be too happy about the comments Rasheed Wallace made on LeBron James. The four-time NBA champion is the best basketball player to ever hit the court. Well, Wallace made an awful remark and it will haunt him forever.

According to the Detroit Pistons legend, LeBron wouldn’t really fit in the 1990s. Yes, the game was totally different, but LeBron has skills and everything he needs to be successful. Wallace made a terrible remark and it didn’t sit well with a lot of people. He is messing around with the wrong fanbase.

Rasheed Wallace is reminded of the dominance LeBron James had in 2007

The NBA icon appeared on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast to discuss modern basketball and LeBron’s game. Well, he didn’t really insult the Lakers superstar, but his comments were pretty… passive aggressive.

“He probably would’ve done good with his physical stature, with him being bigger than the majority of the rest of the players,” he said. “So he probably would’ve held his own, but I don’t think he would be as successful as he is now. It’s a whole different era back then. I couldn’t necessarily say that he would’ve been a beast but I think he would’ve held his own.”

I guess Wallace has amnesia. He seems to have forgotten Game 5 of the 2008 Eastern Conference Finals. LeBron slammed the Pistons and scored 47 points during the game.

The NBA world still remembers the spectacular performance and a lot of fans decided to teach him a lesson. Wallace was hit with a big chunk of reality and he is probably hiding somewhere right now.

LeBron doesn’t pay much attention to outside noise. He is focused on his new team and the upcoming season. The Lakers look a lot different this offseason and the front office is expected to make a few more changes. LeBron will share the court with many new players and he has built instant connection with some of them. Russell Westbrook is the biggest offseason addition for the purple and gold, and LeBron is definitely excited to share the court with him.
