Watch: LeBron James, Russell Westbrook Go Crazy on Lakers Bench Over Dwight Howard Triple

LeBron James and Russell Westbrook were seen going a bit crazy on the Lakers bench after seeing the Dwight Howard triple. The Los Angeles Lakers were able to get the victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers last night. It was a much needed win after a very slow start to the regular season. The Lakers failed to win a single game in the preseason and then failed to look very impressive to start the regular season.

During the game last night, however, emotions were good. Russell Westbrook and LeBron James were both on the bench cheering on Howard after he hit a three.

Howard is definitely not known for being a three point shooter so this came as a bit surprising. It was good to see the Lakers get back on track after a back start to the season. The Westbrook experiment has been on and off for the most part, and some are wondering if a change needs to come quickly. If the Lakers want to make it far in the playoffs, they will need to make some much needed changes.

LeBron talked about the win.

”He’s a sniper,” James added. ”One of those guys that doesn’t need much air space to get it off because it’s a quick trigger. He creates so much space for Russ and myself and A.D. to work our pick-and-roll magic.”

”It’s so crazy, because he was just playing against my son a couple of years ago,” James said. ”This gets more weird by the day. They’ve got a good one. Cleveland has a good one.”

Westbrook did as well.

”I think we’ve been doing a solid job,” Westbrook said. ”Everybody on the outside looking in wants things to click immediately, but that’s not realistic. … We’ll keep our swag up, keep our spirits high regardless of what’s happening.”

This comes after a bad loss to the Thunder.

“Disappointing loss,” Vogel said. “We took our foot off the gas after that big first-quarter lead, which happens in the NBA. Usually, you can catch yourself and sustain it, but we weren’t able to do that.
