Frank Vogel Gives Positive Update on Anthony Davis Status for Game vs Hornets

The Los Angeles Lakers will be without LeBron James in the game against the Charlotte Hornets. Fans were a bit concerned about the other superstar on the Lakers roster. The team provided an update on Anthony Davis and this will be a good news for everyone.

LA will play against LaMelo Ball and his team and they will definitely need AD on the floor. According to head coach Frank Vogel, Davis was updated from questionable to probable.

Lakers players entered the new season as the oldest team in the league. Rob Pelinka signed a good group of veterans and things looked really good for the team. However, several players sustained injuries and will miss significant time on the floor. LeBron missed games due to his ankle strain and now he is dealing with abdominal issues.

Losing both LeBron and Davis to injuries is a real nightmare. We all know what happened last year. The Lakers dropped to the very bottom of the West. Will they repeat the scenario this season?

Promising update on Anthony Davis

One thing stands for sure. NBA analysts have issued concerns about the Lakers and their dominance. Some say LA doesn’t look as deadly as it did at the beginning of the regular season.

AD sustained a thumb injury at the end of the first half of the game of the Oklahoma City Thunder. He found a way to play the remainder of the night out, but we weren’t really sure about his status for the game.

The big man was first listed as questionable for the game against the Blazers. He threw up four times before the game. Yes, AD wanted to play but he left the game after 7 minutes due to a stomach illness.

The Lakers should try really good to replace some of the key players they lost to injuries. It’s a long season and the conference offers great competition. Vogel has great roster to work with. Latest injuries have changed the course of the season for the storied franchise. Well, we shouldn’t be too worried at the moment.
