Colin Cowherd Embarrasses Himself With This Insane 180 On Mac Jones

Colin Cowherd is a fan of Mac Jones. Well, he didn’t quite like the quarterback a few months ago. Jones wasn’t the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. However, he took the New England Patriots to a 9-4 record. Jones is an excellent player and he is doing better than any other quarterback in his class. I guess this was enough for Cowherd to change his mind.

Let’s go back in time. Cowherd criticized Jones, saying that he “ain’t gonna work.”

“Mac Jones — good Lord, Mel Kiper’s gotta slow down on this,” Cowherd said right before the Patriots selected Jones. “Mac Jones ain’t gonna work, folks. It’s not gonna work. You just gotta come to terms with it. It’s not gonna work.”

Can you believe it? Jones and his teammates won seven straight games. A rookie quarterback won seven straight games and will make the playoffs this season. Jones didn’t play his best football against the Bills, but Cowherd praised his performance.

“Folks, young Mac Jones looks like young Tom Brady,” Cowherd said Tuesday afternoon. “You need to just put your arms around it because that’s exactly what it looks like.”

"I'm not afraid to say it. It looks exactly the same. The Patriots are asking him to do the exact same things with a smart offensive coordinator in the same system."

He didn’t make a mistake. Cowherd shared similar thoughts the very next day.

“Once you find the right quarterback, it just gets easier,” Cowherd said. ” … Mac is clearly good enough to win a Super Bowl.”

Cowherd picked a side. He went against the 23-year-old and now he is a fan. One thing stands for sure. Jones’ army of fans keeps getting bigger.

Many would agree that he looks just like Tom Brady. Brady was brilliant in his early beginnings. Jones follows the same footsteps. He even filed trademark for Mac10. That kid is going places, and Bill Belichick is really confident about him. He even gave him the keys to the offense. Jones beat Cam Newton in the quarterback competition last summer.

Patriots players like the young quarterback and his great connection with Nelson Agholor and Hunter Henry will help the team win a lot of games.
