Russell Westbrook Hilarious Diss at Lakers-Clippers Rivalry

The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t beat their city rivals and finished the game with a 119-115 loss. The Clippers got the best of the night despite the fact that both teams gave their best. Everyone was talking about the rivalry, but one Lakers player is not too worried about it. Newly-added Lakers star Russell Westbrook gave fans a really good laugh with his hilarious diss. We will be seeing more from this guy.

Check it out:

“No, I didn’t view anything as a rivalry. I was viewing my grades as my rivalry,” Westbrook deadpanned with a laugh.

When a reporter followed-up, asking if that meant that he had a rivalry with math, Westbrook clarified that he was just fine at that subject, which makes sense given his astounding ability to rack up counting stats. It was another class that was his personal rival.

“Math? Nah, I killed math. It was me vs. biology, chemistry, that’s what I was worried about. I wasn’t worried about no Lakers or no Clippers, to be honest,” Westbrook said.

Russell Westbrook won’t stop with his hilarious diss

The California native joined the Lakers for one reason. He wants to win a ring. That would be his very first ring. Ultimate motivation, huh? Westbrook wasn’t really worried about the rivalry and we all know why. He spent too much time trying to get good grades. There’s no room for concerns at the moment either. His team is doing a good job. They have to adjust their style to the tunes.

There’s no such thing as rivalry. The Lakers are the dominant team in LA. Fans can argue as much as they want but we all know who has the crown. The Clippers beat LA last night, but this doesn’t make them the dominant force in Los Angeles.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis will do their best to take the team to the playoffs. Yes, they struggle, but things will only get better in time. Staying healthy is important and players can’t lose more games at this point. That would be a big mistake.
