Frank Vogel Provides Important Update on Impending Return of Anthony Davis

The Los Angeles Lakers are impatient about the impending return of Anthony Davis. The big man missed too much time due to his injury and the team needs him back before it’s too late. Davis has a key role with the Lakers. He and LeBron James are leading the team. LeBron missed too much time as well. Fans really hope that Davis doesn’t lose more time

Head coach Frank Vogel provided an update on his star player. According to him, doctors will re-evaluate Davis’ health condition in a few days. That’s more than great news for fans out there.

The big man sprained his MCL in the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Experts didn’t think that he’d miss significant time, but they were wrong. Davis was set to miss an entire month or so.

The Lakers struggle to win games and have a 21-21 record at this point of the regular season. AD earned a contract extension and now he is missing too much time. LeBron and Russell Westbrook try really hard to keep the team afloat. They had a good winning streak but things fell apart easily.

AD didn’t play his best basketball this season and his MCL injury only added fuel to the fire. The big man won one ring with the Lakers inside the NBA bubble in Orlando in the 2019-20 NBA season. It was his first ring and Davis decided to stick around for a while and get a few more rings. Things didn’t go the way everyone planned.

Davis is averaging 23.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 52.1 percent from the field and 17.9 percent from beyond the arc. LA needs more than this. Davis can do better than this. The Lakers traded a bunch of young talents to get him. He came to LA for a reason.

The front office is now eyeing other options. The team may trade for other players. Of course, General Manager Rob Pelinka doesn’t have too many names to work with. Teams don’t like Westbrook and LeBron and AD won’t go anywhere in the near future.
