Patriots Veteran Responds to Retirement Rumors After IG Post

New England Patriots veteran Brandon Bolden is dealing with a lot of retirement rumors lately. Bolden took to his Instagram account to deliver a message and fans started talking about his potential retirement.

Well, Bolden decided to put an end to these rumors.

“First and foremost it was an absolute pleasure play with this team this year,” said Bolden. “What can I say, not the full results I had in mind, but this was by far the most fun I’ve had playing football in awhile. I want to really thank you coaches and teammates for the opportunity to be apart of the beginning of something special.

“This was a really special team with extremely special people. I appreciate every man that stepped foot in that locker room. You guys really made an old guy feel kinda young. To see what I’ve seen and been through all that I have, i appreciate all of you and extremely proud to not only call y’all my teammates but my fam. Love y’all boys and I wish nothing but the best to all of you.”

No, Bolden is not retiring. He took to his Twitter account to shut down each and every rumor.

The Patriots veteran to win more games following the retirement rumors

Bolden played with the Miami Dolphins in 2018. This is the only season he has spent outside New England. He joined the NFL in 2012 and won three rings with the Patriots.

Bolden is entering free agency in the offseason. Will he finish his career with the Patriots? Head coach Bill Belichick got the best of him. Bolden used the best of his opportunity, too. James White left the team due to an injury.

Truth is, Bolden has so much to offer. He will be 32, and we have a few good reasons to believe that he will sign another deal with the Patriots.

White is entering free agency, too. Head coach Bill Belichick will have to make a decision and keep either one of these two. He has younger options on the roster, meaning there’s no room for both veterans.
