Patriots to wear favorite uniforms in 2022

Patriots players wore these uniforms about 10 years ago. The team had these uniforms for the very first time during a Thanksgiving game in 2002. They went against the Detroit Lions. The last time they wore these uniforms was in October 2010 against the same team.

The red jersey saw a big comeback for the 50th anniversary of the AFL.

The NFL has a rule that requires teams to pick just one helmet color per season. Of course, the rule was revoked in 2022.

In 2021, the NFL allowed teams to use alternate helmets in 2022, but they had to confirm the change by July 31.

The Patriots will probably make an official announcement at the end of April. That’s exactly what they did in 2020. The team announced the decision to wear new uniforms right before the NFL draft. If this doesn’t happen at the end of April, the Patriots will definitely unveil the change after the release of the new schedule.

Belichick and his team has entered a new era. The will enter another Tom Brady-less season. Mac Jones is here to take the lead.
