Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James heard about the gift Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had for his team and his reaction was priceless.
Tomlin had a special surprise for his players ahead of the Week 1 game and went viral within minutes. What did he buy? Tomlin purchased black Air Force 1s for each and every player of his team. Running back Najee Harris took to Twitter to “brag” about it.
What’s so special about these?
“A person that purposely purchases them is a person that cannot be trusted. You have to immediately question their motives. These folks have no regard for your safety or their own,” Complex’s Angel Diaz wrote in 2019. ” A person that purposely purchases them is a person that cannot be trusted. You have to immediately question their motives. These folks have no regard for your safety or their own.”
LeBron’s reaction says it all. He took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Tomlin’s gift.
LeBron respects coach Tomlin, but roots for Cleveland team
The Lakers superstar is really excited about the start of the football season. He watches every game and supports the Cleveland Browns for obvious reasons. He also hypes the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams. Well, this doesn’t change the fact that he supports Tomlin and everything he does on the football field. Tomlin has had great success over the years and LeBron appreciates that.
LeBron praised Tomlin in 2020 despite his support for the Browns. Greatness respects greatness, remember?
When it comes to the Browns, LeBron can’t get over the fact that they passed Josh Allen twice in the 2018 NFL Draft. Cleveland had a chance to get a star player, but it didn’t. Allen didn’t have the best rookie season, but became one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. LeBron watched the Buffalo Bills smash the Los Angeles Rams and couldn’t even hide his disappointment. Allen would have been an excellent signal caller for the Browns, making them top contenders in the division.
Football season is here again and we’ll embrace each and every LeBron tweet!
