Lakers LeBron James Sends Message To Tyus Jones After Grizzlies Win

The Los Angeles Lakers lost the second game of the series to the Memphis Grizzlies and it was really tense. Lakers superstar LeBron James delivered a strong message following the loss to the Grizzlies and Tyus Jones was his main target.

The Lakers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in the play-in tournament and earned their spot in the series. They beat the Grizzlies in the first game, but things didn’t go that easy in the second game. Fun fact? Memphis was without Ja Morant.

LeBron praised Jones following the game, crediting him for the great success Memphis had. The Grizzlies played without Morant, but Jones took care of the game. He had full control over the game and the result is here. Memphis won.

“They don’t miss a beat when Tyus goes into the starting lineup,” LeBron said. “They’re just as dangerous [as a] team when Tyus is starting. So, they don’t miss a beat, and we knew that. No matter is Ja’s in the game, if Ja’s starting, dangerous. If Tyus is starting, dangerous. So we don’t change our approach.”

LeBron and his Lakers teammates have to beat the Grizzlies

The Lakers needed 10 points to beat the Grizzlies. It was a disappointing performance and players could do better. Lakers legend Magic Johnson said the Lakers “have no one to blame but themselves.”

LeBron and his teammates have to win 3 more games, but the Grizzlies will definitely give them a terrible headache. Darvin Ham has a good roster and his players have to shut down Memphis and play less than seven games.

Anthony Davis may be dominant, but he struggled to score in the game. He delivered 20 points and went 4-of-14 from the field in 37 minutes of game. Grizzlies players will do their best to limit Davis, but the big man won’t give up without a good fight.

LA and Memphis will play again on Saturday. It’s a big day for both teams and experts have predicted a big win for the purple and gold. Let’s see what happens in two days.
