Patriots List 2023 Hall Of Fame Finalists

The New England Patriots have three finalists for the 2023 Hall of Fame and the names are officially out. Logan Mankins, Mike Vrabel, and Bill Parcells worked really hard to earn their spots on this list.

Vrabel and Mankins played together from 2005-2008. The former linebacker joined the Patriots as a free agent right before the start of the 2001 season. He was part of the Pittsburgh Steelers for four years and then became a Patriot.

The Patriots won a title with Vrabel in 2003 and 2004. He was spectacular in 2007 as well, finishing fifth in the AP Defensive Player of the Year Voting. Vrabel didn’t get the award, but was rewarded with a Pro Bowl and All-Pro selection. He was a key player for the Patriots and helped them win a lot of games.

The Patriots got Mankins with the final pick of the first round in the 2005 NFL Draft. He became a key player on the offense and finished second in the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year voting. Mankins got six Pro Bowl selections during his time with the Patriots. He helped Bill Belichick build a strong offense. The legendary player retired in 2015, butwas named to the NFL Hall of Fame’s All-2010s Team in honor of his great career.

Mankins didn’t earn a ring with the Patriots. The team sent him to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013 and he got to play two Super Bowls. Unfortunately, his team didn’t get to win a title.

Parcells joined a struggling Patriots team in 1993. It was a good decision and Parcells helped the Patriots survive the drought. They were coming off four bad seasons and Parcells had to fix the damage.

In Parcells’ first season with the Patriots, players went from 2-14 to 4-11. They went 10-6 in his second season and even became a Wild Card team. Parcells led the team to a 6-10 record in his third season with the team and made the Super Bowl in 1996.

In other words, each of these guys made history during their time in New England.
