Bill Belichick Sends Kayshon Boutte Strong Endorsement After First Camp

The New England Patriots got Kayshon Boutte for a really good reason and it seems like head coach Bill Belichick found a true gem. Will Boutte get the chance he deserves?

NFL experts praised Boutte’s performance on the practice field. He was a dominant force in the preseason game against the Green Bay Packers and this could play a big role in his future with the Patriots. Yes, Boutte struggled in his final moments at LSU, but he can definitely earn a spot on the active man roster.

Belichick has the final word. Will he let Boutte show his true skills in the regular season? One thing stands for sure. The Patriots head coach is impressed with all the improvement Boutte showed during the preseason. He put a lot of effort to accomplish this. Earning Belichick’s trust seems to be a priority for Patriots players who actually plan to stick around for longer.

“As camp went on, seemed to get stronger and more productive both in practice and games,” Bill Belichick said during a Saturday morning video call. “Really in all the areas that he worked into, so that was very encouraging. He showed an explosive ability on the field when he played. So he’s had a good camp.”

Belichick will soon decide whether Boutte deserves a spot on the roster

The Patriots head coach is a man of a few words. He has yet to announce his 53-man roster. Belichick is pretty happy with the way his current roster looks. Will he made some more changes?

“We’ll take a look at everything here as we put things together here over the weekend and heading into the regular season,” Belichick said. “But yeah, Kayshon has had a strong camp.”

DeVante Parker cemented himself in the receiving unit. Kendrick Bourne, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Demario Douglas will definitely make the roster. We have a strong feeling that Tyquan Thornton will get a bit role in this unit as well. Sadly, Thornton recovers from a shoulder injury and his health condition could give Boutte a chance to shine on the football field.
