LeBron James Defeats Rockets, Father Time, Dillon Brooks In Lakers Win

The Los Angeles Lakers celebrated a tight win over the Houston Rockets and guess who stole the show… Four-time NBA champion LeBron James showed the world that he is the GOAT once again and beating the Rockets was a piece of cake for him.

LeBron was supposed to play an average of 29 minutes each night, but he did 40 minutes against the Rockets. He scored 37 points on 14-for-19 shooting and also delivered six rebounds and eight assists. Let’s not forget that he is almost 39.

Just trying to push the limit, see how far I can take this thing. I don’t know. It’s me vs. Father Time. I’m trying to change the narrative,” LeBron said after the win.

LeBron and Lakers teammates beat the Rockets with ease

Lakers players have great words for LeBron and his dominance on the floor. Big man Anthony Davis even said that his teammate doesn’t even look like his agen.

“He’s playing phenomenal right now,” Davis said. “He’s doing it all for us. … Doesn’t even feel like he’s 38. We keep getting this performance from him then we get our 3-ball falling again for rest of the team, I think we’ll be fine.”

LeBron is averaging 25.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. Not bad for a ‘washed king’, right?

The Lakers superstar found a way to deal with Dillon Brooks and he was loud and clear. Well, I guess LeBron will use situations like this to teach the world a lesson.

“He’s a great competitor. I like going against him,” LeBron said. “And he was hooping tonight too, for sure. He was shooting the ball exceptionally well, kept them in the game. … So, that’s competition. Those young guys, they get me going. So, I need that.”

LeBron has a nice motive to get the job done. He is doing it for himself and the family.

“…Then I looked over at one point and seen Bronny sitting courtside, too. Then I was like, ‘OK, I still gotta turn up even more with him in the building.’ So that was motivating, for sure…”
