Lakers’ Place LeBron James On LA Injury Report Vs. Heat With Non-COVID Illness

The Los Angeles Lakers are hearing up for the upcoming game against the Miami Heat. Miami forwards Jimmy Butler and Haywood Highsmith will be sidelined for the game and LeBron James was also added to the injury report for the Lakers. Anthony Davis’ status for the game is also questionable.

The Heat have a 19-14 record at this point of the season. They will meet the Lakers and try to bounce back from consecutive losses. The Los Angeles Clippers got the best of the game and Miami couldn’t really stop this. The Lakers have lost eight of the last 11 games. Going against the Heat may be quite a challenge if LeBron doesn’t suit up for the game.

LeBron ends up on injured report, Butler is out, too

Butler is out due to a right foot irritation and Highsmith is out due to a concussion. Caleb Martin was listed as doubtful due to a right ankle sprain. Josh Richardson is questionable due to a left back facet syndrome and Dru Smith is out after undergoing a right knee surgery.

When it comes to the Lakers, they have a long injury report as well. Davis is probable after dealing with a left ankle sprain/bone bruise. Rui Hachimura is out due to a left calf strain. Cam Reddish is probable due to a left groin soreness. The Lakers listed D’Angelo Russell as doubtful due to a tailbone contusion, and Gabe Vincent is out after undergoing a left knee surgery.

Miami will be without a few key players, but they have already done this before.

Butler and Highsmith are out and this would make things easier for Butler and Highsmith. Reddish, Russell, and Hachimura are great contributors, but the Lakers can win without them. Heat can try to win the game with Tyler Herro and Ban Adebayo. These two can do wonders on the basketball court. If LeBron and Davis are sidelined, Herro and Adebayo have a chance to lead the Heat to a title.
