Lakers Provide Status Updates On LeBron James And Anthony Davis Ahead Of Monday Game Vs. Rockets

LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers will go against the Houston Rockets. The team has released the final injury report ahead of the game and guess what… Both LeBron and Davis are listed as questionable for the game. The franchise ruled out Cam Reddish out due to a right ankle sprain. Gabe Vincent won’t suit up for the game as well as he had a surgery to fix his left knee issue.

LeBron’s status is related to a left ankle peroneal tendinopathy and AD deals with bilateral Achilles tendinopathy. Both stars played in the overtime win over the Golden State Warriors. It was a great game between the rivals and LeBron put up quite a show. Stephen Curry did the same. It’s always good to see these two challenge their dominance on the basketball court. Players took the game in overtime and the Lakers celebrated a nice win.

This win came at a big expense though. LeBron and Davis had to take a bigger load than usual. This definitely led to a questionable status for the game against the Rockets.

Lakers need LeBron and Davis to beat the Rockets

LeBron and Davis showed great durability in the first half of the season. LeBron sat out just five of 47 regular-season games. AD sat out just a couple of games.

LeBron is averaging 25.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game with the Lakers. He shoots 52.1 percent from the field and 39.9 percent from the three-point line.

Davis is averaging 25.0 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.4 blocks per game with the Lakers this season. He shoots 55.5 percent from the field and 27.5 percent from 3-point range.

Let’s hope to see both players in the game against the Rockets. Losing either of them to an injury would be a big blow for the purple and gold. Head coach Darvin Ham needs both players on the floor.
