LeBron James Gets 100% Real On What Doomed Lakers In Pacers Game

The Los Angeles Lakers had a brilliant performance in the previous game against the Indiana Pacers, but were served a loss in Friday night’s game. The Lakers broke their winning streak and suffered a horrible loss in a game they were supposed to win. It’s interesting to note that the Lakers beat the Milwaukee Bucks and looked good in pretty much every game lately. What led to the terrible loss against the Pacers? LeBron James discussed all factors that led to the loss against the Pacers.

It was an awful 109-90 loss and we can freely say that Indiana players did their best to keep the Lakers under control. They entered the game determined to win and that’s exactly what happened.

LeBron wanted the Lakers to beat the Pacers

The Lakers enjoyed their strong dominance on the floor. NBA analysts really thought that the team would continue winning games. They had great plans for the road trip, but the Pacers neutralized players.

Lakers players missed 25 of their 30 attempts beyond the arc.

“We’ve been shooting the ball exceptionally from the outside for the last few months, but tonight we just didn’t have it,” LeBron said, per Lakers Nation on Twitter (X). “Give credit where credit is due. [The Pacers] extended their defense, but we missed some really good looks as well.”

Lakers players need to be more consistent in order to beat their opponents. They are approaching the end of the regular season and things shouldn’t get out of control that easily.

LeBron criticized his teammates for being “careless” and advised them to try and avoid any unforced turnovers.

Anthony Davis is well aware of the fact that his teammates played bad in the game. Lakers players can do better than this and everyone knows it.

“Teams can play well and beat us. I think it’s the way we lost tonight that is a wasted opportunity,” Davis said, per Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
