Kyrie Irving Makes Major Announcement About LeBron And The NBA’s MVP

Houston Rockets guard James Harden won the top award for the 2017-2018 season, but Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving has something else to say.

According to him, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James is the real NBA MVP for the season. Is Kyrie Irving right?

Irving appeared as a guest on HOT 97 to promote his Uncle Drew film, and used the occasion to say that Harden was “the people’s MVP.” He didn’t think twice before saying that LeBron is the “NBA’s MVP.”

“I didn’t vote. I didn’t vote. I think MVP is hard to gauge nowadays because now you have the people’s MVP and the NBA’s MVP… I think the people’s MVP was definitely James, but the NBA MVP was definitely Bron,” Irving said.
Although he doesn’t play with LeBron, but he has all the respect for his game. “I mean, if we’re talking strictly based off stats, he checks every mark. He’s incredible,” he added.

Irving is right. We’re not trying to say that Harden did bad during the season. His season was awesome, and the award says it all. Harden had averages of 30.4 points, 8.8 assists, and 5.4 rebounds per game. He took the Rockets to the top overall record in the NBA.

How do you define the “Most Valuable Player?’ It’s someone that wins you a game and a season. So, this means that LeBron is fit for the role, and he’s the only person to win the award.

James LeBron has an awesome career, and he has suitors running after him. He’s about to make a final decision regarding the free-agency possibility. The Cleveland Cavaliers hope to keep him for the season, but LeBron may have other thoughts on his mind. The summer will probably be exciting, and we’re looking forward to some good stories.
