Sony Michel Releases Major Statement On Ongoing Contract With The Patriots

The New England Patriots are going through a lot at the moment, and they face a new challenge with every day that goes by. Their first round of the 2018 NFL Draft is spiced up with the selection of OL Isaiah Wynn for the No. 23 overall pick. They are also going for RB Sony Michel with the No. 31 pick.

The preseason is right around the corner. Isiah Wynn put pen to paper for his deal, and Sony Michel is the only Patriots rookie that’s left to sign a contract.

This doesn’t change much in Michel’s world, as he isn’t worried at all. He isn’t in the rush, and that’s mostly because he is positive about signing anything.

The former Bulldog is more focused on preparing his body for the next few months. “I’m sure it’s going to get taken care of, but that’s other people that’s taking care of that. My focus is just to make sure I’m in the best shape possible that I can be to get ready for camp,” Michel said.

Michel will probably compete with Rex Burkhead, James White, Jeremy Hill and a few others for a position in New England.

A decent preseason will sure help a lot, and Michel can only hope that his agent gets him closer to signing a deal.
Let the battle begin!
