Report: Rob Gronkowski Made a Decision For The Upcoming Patriots’ Training Camp

Rob Gronkowski is in the focus again, and this time it’s his big decision on the Patriots training camp. The New England Patriots had a unique offseason, and Gronk had the time of his life. There were a bunch of disagreements in Gronk’s game, and some said this could change the way his career develops. But, the big Gronk won’t go anywhere.

No disagreement will keep Rob Gronkowski from showing up at work.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter has more on the matter. He reported that Gronk won’t be holding out when his team opens up the training camp in Foxboro.

“In a year in which there is the potential for some notable training camp holdouts, Patriots’ TE Rob Gronkowski will not be one. Gronkowski is expected to report to Patriots’ training camp July 25 on time, per source,” Schefter said.

The 29-year-old player was involved in retirement rumors, and the speculation went even further. Some said that the tight end will pursue a career in acting or professional wrestling. Can you imagine that? The Big Gronk? Wrestling?

Gronk did the same thing as the New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. He decided to skip the optional team workouts and practices during the offseason. However, he did report for the Pats mandatory minicamp. Right after Gronk appeared at a press conference at Gillette Stadium, Gronk and his agent Drew Rosenhaus had a meeting with head coach Bill Belichick. During this meeting Gronk committed to play in the 2018 season.

Reports confirmed that Gronk was scheduled to have his reworked contract by the end of June, but such contract hasn’t been agreed upon yet.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss reported that Gronk was seen in the Pats facility. So, yes, this man isn’t going anywhere, and the Patriots are about to see the best of him. That’s what he promised.
