Rob Gronkowski Reveals Tom Brady’s Biggest Birthday Wish

Friday’s practice will be slightly different than the others, and that’s because it will be Tom Brady’s 41st birthday, and many of us have been wandering what will Brady get as a present.

“It’s a secret,” Rob Gronkowski said.

He added: “I didn’t get him a present yet but I don’t know. Usually, he just loves the game of football so much, usually on his birthday he just wants a good practice day. Lot of touchdowns.”

Gronkowski also praised Brady for what he’s been able to do even though he’s in his 40s.

“I mean, no doubt about it,” he said. “He’s hands-down just remarkable, it’s amazing. At age 41, I mean, there’s coaches younger than us – younger than him on the roster. He looks younger than the coaches, he looks younger than everyone. The way he’s moving, how just reliable he is at all times is just unbelievable and something to look up to.”

The tight end did has noticed that Brady’s behavior has changed with age, saying that he isn’t as intense with getting after players as he had been in the past.

“I’ve seen the same fire in him since I’ve been here,” Gronkowski said. “I would say probably back in the day he was a little more on you if you didn’t get it right, a little bit more in your face but I mean, he’s going on 41 now, I don’t see the – I feel like he backed off on that a little bit, which is nice. He used to be mean to me and I’m glad he’s not to these young guys anymore.”

Patriots’ coach Bill Belichick was also asked if he has something planned for the G.O.A.T.

Belichick seemed amused by the question and smiled before saying: “I still have a couple days to work that . . . we’ll come up with something.”
