Patriots’ Tom Brady Brakes NFL Record With Touchdown Pass Vs. Lions

The New England Patriots are playing against the Detroit Lions in Week 3, and quarterback Tom Brady has already made a NFL record.

Well, he’s Tom Brady. The GOAT. Patriots fans will remember this day as the day when Tom Brady made another NFL record. The Patriots are lucky to have him, especially if you take into consideration the fact that Brady always finds a way to take the team out of the mud.

In the third quarter of the Patriots’ Week 3 matchup against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field, quarterback Brady was able to connect with running back James White for a 10-yard touchdown pass. He literally rewrote the NFL records books in the play.

Stat of note: With his TD pass to James White, Tom Brady now owns the record for most TD passes by a QB in his 40s, with 38. He passes Warren Moon.

With a game of this kind, he can play another decade. Brady knows the game better than anyone. He has entered his 19th season with the Patriots, meaning he has seen almost everything you can see in the world of football. He’s one of the very few players on the team who can save the day. That’s what he did today.

James White is one of the pillars in the team. The Patriots have had trouble creating depth at the receiver spot, and many of the receivers were released due to injuries. Julian Edelman is still suspended. So, White had a huge role, and he’s one of the most important players on the roster. Belichick swears on him and his ability to play both receiver and running back.
