Dwyane Wade and LeBron James Woke Up Today With The Same Thought

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and Lakers forward LeBron James are good friends, and they’ve been pretty close in the past decade. They even think alike.

Well, great minds do think alike, and both Wade and LeBron woke up today with the same thought on their mind.
The players took their time to acknowledge the athletic exploits of a player in a different sport. Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers is the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers since 2008. He has quite a resume, and is now destined for the Hall of Fame. Rodgers enhanced his legacy by taking the Packers to an iconic comeback victory over the Chicago Bears. He threw three touchdown passes for the 24-20 victory.

“Woke up this morning saying to myself ‘Aaron Rodgers’ you’re incredibly good at football my guy!’” LeBron tweeted.
Wade did the same thing. “That’s funny because I woke up saying to myself ‘Aaron Rodgers you’re incredibly good at football but sir why my Bears alllll the time,’” he wrote and retweeted LeBron’s tweet.

The Green Bay Packers trailed 20-0, and the quarterback left the game in the second quarter due to a knee injury. He came back after halftime, and threw his scoring passes in the final quarter. The last score came with just two minutes remaining in the game. Let’s not forget that Wade grew up in Chicago, and is a huge Bears fan.

Wade and LeBron played together with the Miami Heat in the period between 2010 and 2014. They brought the team to the NBA Finals each season. The Heat captured league titles in 2012 and 2013. The duo reunited as members of the Cavaliers, and Wade was then dealt back to the Heat in February.

Wade hasn’t confirmed the return for his 16th NBA season yet, but many believe that he will join the Heat again.
