LeBron Honors Family And Hometown With Amazing Contribution

LeBron James is working on a special project at the moment, and his partnership with Nike gave us the brilliant LeBron 16. The king is all about honoring his family and hometown.

The Nike LeBron 16 is the sixteenth signature shoe by the corporation for King James. The shoes were officially released on September 7th in the “Harlem’s Fashion Row” colorway. The special shoes will be followed by black/red “Fresh Bred” on September 20th. Nike has already confirmed the release of other colorways and styles in September and the following months. These are released in honor of LeBron’s hometown.

The debut in the “Harlem Fashion Row” for NYFW was a big thing. The clean “Fresh Bred” surprised us with the striking lion graphig and glowing red eyes on its heel. The futuristic sneaker was unveiled in a style we’re all familiar with. Who could ever forget the rough and rugged Oreo?

The Battleknit upper is decorated with the standard Oreo-style combination of black, white and grey. That flecked look is brilliant! The good news is that this Oreo pair is more than the classic colorway we’re used to see.

Each LeBron 16 has a different story to tell. The Oreo shoes showcase LeBron’s roots as it honors his hometown of Akron and his tree kids – Bronnie, Bryce Maximus and Zhuri.

The right shoe heel has a “330” hit – the Akron area code – and the left shoe features a “BBZ” embellishment, nodding to LeBron’s three children. The brilliant leather tongue with chenille embroidery hits provides a touch of premium flair, same as the leather heel cage and canvas heel strap.

The king’s classic Dunkman logo is added on both on the outsole and the shoebox with a nice twist – LeBron wears the 16s instead of the Xoom Generation.

The knew kicks are more than amazing, and we’ll keep you updated on any new releases.
