Magic Johnson Reveals What He Spoke With Luke Walton About LeBron And Lakers

The front office of the Los Angeles Lakers was well aware of the disaster that struck the team, and owner Jeanie Buss was ready to make some changes. What’s better than adding LeBron James to the Lakers? Probably nothing. LeBron was the only solution they had, and he was about to become a free agent earlier this summer. Magic Johnson spoke with head coach Luke Walton on their next move.

The first season may be slow, but the Lakers will eventually develop into a winning machine. That’s what most Lakers fans thing. They do believe that LeBron will need some time to fit in the game. However, Magic Johnson isn’t worried about this, and the same applies to Luke Walton, too.

“As I was talking to Luke [with GM Rob Pelinka], we said don’t worry about if we get out to a bad start. We have seen that with LeBron [James] going to Miami, and we have seen that when he came back to Cleveland. He is going to struggle because there are so many new moving parts. But eventually we are going to get it, and we are going to be really a good team,” Magic Johnson said.

Luke Walton will have to work really hard this season. He’s got a superstar on the team, and he has to get them ready for the big game. The Lakers have huge chances of improving their game. LeBron is here to teach the young talents everything he knows about the game. The veterans will give him a hand in that one.

The signing of LeBron James is definitely the best thing that has happened to the Los Angeles Lakers lately. They’ve lost too many games, and Magic Johnson knew that they have to make a huge step forward, and yes, they did the best for the team.
