Report: Patriots Interest In Dez Bryant Revealed
Dez Bryant is still looking for the right team, and the New England Patriots are his absolute favorite. But, is New England interested in Bryant?
When asked if he would go back to the Cowboys’ team, Dez Bryant said he’d rather “go somewhere show case case my skills for real.. if I line up next to Gronk hogan Edelman I’m for sure getting a 1 on 1 match up plus I won’t be getting criticized controlled for expressing my love for the game.” The Patriots still need a little help at their wide receiver spot.
Phillip Dorsett caught seven of the nine passes in the regular-season opening game against the Houston Texans. This means that quarterback Tom Brady needs more options on the field.
Everything points to the fact that Bryant isn’t considered an option. According to Michael Giardi of NFL Network, the Patriots are “probably” not interested in Bryant. Well, the team has already added Bennie Fowler and Corey Coleman to the roster. New England needed something different, and Bryant didn’t quite fir in Foxboro.
Dez Bryant continues to politic for the Pats, but I just spoke with a #Patriots team source who reiterated what I was told weeks ago, the team remains – and I quote – "probably no" on the ex-Cowboy.

But, the word “probably” still gives hope that the team may change their mind, and offer Bryant a contract. This week the team will challenge the Jacksonville Jaguars, and that’s the only chance Bryant has to ink a deal.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are the only team that could slow down the Patriots quarterback and the offense. Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye may easily attack the weak wide receivers in New England. So, yes, head coach Bill Belichick may change his mind and welcome Bryant to the team.
But, experts say that Bryant has no chances of playing at the Gillette Stadium. If the Patriots were going to bring him in, they would’ve done that during training camp. Bryant’s temper is too great, and he may not acclimate to the Patriots’ culture.
