Tom Brady Surpasses Brett Favre For NFL Record

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has the ultimate performance in the world of football. CLNS Media’s Evan Lazar confirms that the quarterback surpassed Hall of Famer Brett Favre for most wins by a quarterback aged 40 or more.

The team marked their regular season opener with a 27-20 victory, and Brady is ready to raise the bar even higher. Yes, he is definitely aiming to play until 45. This makes him better than Brett Favre.

Brady achieved several milestones on Sunday. He is now the third oldest player to throw a touchdown pass in a season opener. Brady threw three touchdowns in the first half for the 18th time in his professional career.

The quarterback completed 26 of his 38 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns with an interception.

“I don’t think we played anywhere near what our capabilities are. I think it’s good to win, obviously, but we’ve got to do a lot better than that I think. Just turning the ball over and not taking advantage of some opportunities that we had out there, all of us probably look at the game and realize we could have done a lot of things differently,” Brady said.

“I think that’s the point of playing football. It’s not, ‘Oh, this guy, this is what his level of expectation is. That’s what we should put the team’s expectation at.’ It’s if you’re playing in the slot, you’ve got to play as well as any slot receiver we’ve ever had. If you play on the perimeter, you’ve got to play as well as any receiver we’ve ever had – tight end, quarterback, running back – and guys can play up to that. I think you can’t sit there and coach or communicate and go, ‘Oh, well, that’s OK because you’re not quite there yet.’”

Keep up the good job, Brady!
