Report: Patriots Re-Signing Running Back

The New England Patriots have developed quite a tradition. They keep signing and releasing players in the days between two games, and this time they have re-signed a running back.

The Patriots welcomed Kenneth Farrow. The running back was added to the Patriots practice squad, and Farrow will fill the lone slot that was open. The Patriots already have a history with Farrow. He was part of the team until Sept. 20. The running back spent some of his preseason with New England, and the Patriots know pretty much everything about his skills and game.

Farrow was first added to the 90-man roster in order to serve as an extra player for the preseason finale against the New York Giants. The patriots released him right after the game. In the team’s preseason finale against the Giants, the running back carried the football five times for 24 yards, and caught all three of his targets for 14 yards.

The player did not make the opening day roster, and the team decided to bring him back on Sept. 12. However, Farrow was released eight days later in order to provide a new spot for wide receiver Corey Coleman. He was cut off, too.

Farrow was undrafted in 2016, but sure has some regular season experience. He played with the Chargers in 2016, and was productive in 13 games. He had two starts and rushed for 192 yards. The running back caught 13 of his 16 targets for 70 yards. Farrow spend the 2017 campaign on injured reserved.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss, Farrow will sport No. 37 during his time with the Patriots. In the preseason, the player wore No. 27.

The Patriots are all about finding the right winning formula. Is Bill Belichick happy with this team and all the players that are on it?
