Watch: Popovich Admits That LeBron Scares Him To Death

The Los Angeles Lakers lost the game to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night at the Staples center. Media members were interested in the way Spurs’ head coach Gregg Popovich sees LeBron James.

Let’s just say that his response was more than hilarious. Gregg Popovich was asked about the benefits LeBron brings to the Lakers. The fun part comes when you realize that the Spurs’ head coach had to respond to the question while staring at the massive billboard of LeBron outside of the hotel in which his players stayed. “It was horrifying seeing LeBron’s face outside my hotel room… He’s already big and now he’s monstrous. I was scared to death,” Popovich joked.

Although this was actually a joke, LeBron sure gives his opponents a reason to be scared. He is one of the greatest players in the league, and the Lakers landed him for a good reason.

The Spurs tried to use every single opportunity to slow down the king of basketball. His game was majestic despite the fact that the Lakers lost the match. LeBron James has great power on the basketball court, and nothing could stop him. The Cleveland Cavaliers lost their greatest star, and everyone knows it.

LeBron will sure bring few changes to the Lakers organization. He will need some time to build the chemistry in the team, and that’s a normal thing. King James joined the Lakers this summer, and is doing a really good job during the games. But, he cannot do everything by himself. The Lakers have a few more things to work on, and they will sure succeed in doing that. The season has just started, and the three initial losses should not discourage the players. They still have enough time to improve their game and find a way to play without Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram as they are now suspended.
