Watch: Derrick Rose Cries After Dropping 50 Points

We have witnessed several miracles on the court this season, and one of them is called Derrick Rose.

The Minnesota Timberwolves took on the Utah Jazz, and Jimmy Butler decided to sit out the match. However, Derrick Rose reached a career-high 50 points and helped the team win the game. He was overwhelmed with emotions, and could not hold his tears. I mean, this was a rather huge success, and Rose is proud of himself.

If you ask Rose, he will say that he “played his heart out” on Wednesday. He finished the matchup with 50 points on 19-of-31 shooting. Rose also had six assists, four rebounds and a pair of steals. The guard knocked down four of his seven attempts, and blocked Dante Exum’s three-point attempt.

Before Wednesday’s contest, Rose averaged 14.3 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.0 rebounds. He was shooting just 38.5 points from the field. He scored 28 points earlier this month against the Mavericks, and it was the only matchup in which he managed to eclipse the 20-point mark.

NBA stars congratulated Rose on his success.

“Every Basketball fan in the world should feel good for DRose. Tonite was an example of never giving up on yourself and when others believe in you. Amazing things can happen. I’m smiling like i scored 50! Congrats to a good dude!” Dwyane Wade tweeted.

“He gives his mind and body just to play one game. When you talk about perseverance, that’s the true definition of it. The youngest MVP to ever play, to have battles with injuries and to be able to come back. Derrick Rose showed why he’s still a superhero,” LeBron said of Rose.

Rose had several knee surgeries, and this was a pleasant surprise for every NBA fan out there. Keep up the good job, Derrick Rose!
