LeBron James Releases Major Statement About Lakers Teammates Being Too Unselfish

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James said his teammates are unselfish. According to LeBron, the fact that his Lakers teammates are unselfish is bad.

Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints reported that LeBron addressed the Lakers’ turnover problems in the last couple of games. In the team’s win over the Utah Jazz, the Lakers lost the ball 23 times. LeBron had five turnovers. In the team’s loss to the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles had 18 miscues, and six of these were LeBron’s. If you need more details, LeBron said there were times when he was supposed to hold onto the ball instead of sending it to his Lakers teammates. The king also said that most of the team’s turnovers occur when the Lakers are attacking.

“Some of them, we’re being too unselfish, including myself. I’m making some passes where I have a small window. I’m seeing guys when I should probably hold onto it. A lot of them are forced, some of them are attack TOs,” LeBron said of the Lakers’ turnovers.

“We have to do a better job of that. We know we haven’t been well. We haven’t taken care of the ball the last two games.”

The Los Angeles Lakers are ranked 26th in turnovers and have about 15.9 per game. Experts have also noticed that the team has turned the ball over more at home with 17 a contest when compared to their road games at 14.8 per game. November was not a good month for Los Angeles, and the Lakers turned the ball over 16.8 times per contest.
But, the Lakers have a 11-8 record and own the seventh place in the Western Conference. The team won seven of the last 10 contests.

This is still a good record, especially if you take into consideration that the Los Angeles Lakers are still building their game on the court.
