Report: Warriors’ Steph Curry Involved In Scary Multi-Car Accident

Golden State Warriors were struck by a tragedy as their All-Star point guard Steph Curry had to deal with a worse problem than his groin injury. Curry was traveling to the Warriors’ practice facility.

ABC7News.com reported that Steph Curry was injured into a multi-car accident before 9:00 a.m. PT on Friday morning. His vehicle was destroyed, too.

The car accident happened somewhere before 9 a.m. on Westbound Highway 24 on the Oakland side of the Caldecott Tunnel.

“The crash happened just before 9 a.m. on Westbound Highway 24 on the Oakland side of the Caldecott Tunnel. A California Highway Patrol spokesman said Curry was hit twice; first a car spun out and hit him, then a second car rear-ended him. Curry’s Porsche was damaged. But everyone, including Curry, appears to be okay. The CHP says weather likely played a role,” reports read.

Being involved in a car accident is the last thing Curry needed at this point in his career. Multi-car accidents are a terrible thing, and people lose their lives.

The future Hall of Famer walked away from the car accident unharmed, but he is still out of the Golden State Warriors lineup due to a groin injury.

The Warriors are making their way through the regular season. The team will challenge Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night and the Oracle Arena is definitely the best place for such a game.

Accidents cannot be predicted, and they usually end up badly for all the individuals involved. Luckily, Curry was not hurt, and he better work on his existing groin injury. The Warriors need his skills on the basketball court, and Curry is now advised to pay more attention to his physical condition. The Warriors may not be playing their best basketball this season, but it is still early to make any conclusions.
