Bold LeBron James Claim Made By NBA Expert After Lakers Defeat Mavericks

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Dallas Mavericks without their star player. NBA expert James Worthy says this is the most impressive win of the regular season.

The Lakers turned the 67-54 half-time deficit into a 107-97 win over the Mavericks. The team won the game without LeBron James as he is still recovering from the groin injury he suffered in the game against the Golden State Warriors.

Brandon Ingram scored 29 points, Lonzo Ball had 21 and Josh Hard had 14. Impressive, right?

The Lakers took the lead in the second hald, and the players sealed the game with an excellent finish.

Worthy went on Spectrum Sportsnet to say that the Lakers played as a unit and did not need the king’s help when it comes to scoring. That only proves that the players had come really far.

To me, this was the biggest win of the year. And I know people are saying ‘what about Golden State?’ and that was a big win. But without LeBron [James], without [Rajon] Rondo and what they’ve been through [it was impressive],” he said.

“For those guys to, from start to end, do everything required of them. They were a unit tonight. You could see that tonight in the mini huddles, Hart was talking, Ingram was talking, they were together, they were a unit. This is what makes the Lakers dangerous, because if they figure out this type of game, this is what team ball is all about. If they continue like this, they’ll reap rewards the likes of which they’ve never seen before.”

LeBron will miss another week, but his condition is not too serious. Rajon Rondo is still out of the court, too. However, the young players found a way to win without the star players. When will King James return? That’s not precisely determined.
