Watch: Sony Michel Rushes For First Touchdown Vs. Chargers

The New England Patriots are on their way to dominate the field in the AFC Divisional Round game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Sony Michel scored the first touchdown for the game.

The first touchdown was brought through a pass interference call with Rob Gronkowski. The Patriots got the ball at the 1-yard line and Sony Michel was able to barrel in for the first score of the day. Many would say that this was just a methodical opening drive for the Patriots as they got the ball after owning the coin toss. The players drove down the field 83-yards on 14 plays and took some time of the first quarter to jump to 7-0.

James White was there, too

Sony Michel managed to hit pay dirt to cap off the drive, but James White was the player doing most damage on that drive. He was able to catch all five of his targets for 45 yards. Receiver Julian Edelman was successful in catching his 90th playoff catch of his professional career. This brings him at the No.3 all-time in the entire history of football.

Quarterback Tom Brady was strong on the drive as he comleted seven of his eight passes for 60 yards.

The winner of the Divisional Round match will book the ticket to Kansas City to play the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game after they found a way to win the game over the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday in their Divisional Round game.

If Tom Brady and his teammates win the game, they will have the eight straight year theyhave made it to the final four of the rocking playoffs.

So this is a rather important game for both teams. We can imagine head coach Bill Belichick on the sidelines. That’s what this game is all about.
